REDMOND, WA — In a classic case of “third-wheel syndrome,” Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is leaving no stone unturned in his desperate attempts to contact Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, the stars of the upcoming epic showdown. Gates, known for his persistent pursuit of coolness, has taken it upon himself to insert his name into the fray, employing a series of increasingly outrageous tactics to grab the attention of the dynamic duo.

Gates’s first move was a simple email, carefully crafted to catch Musk’s and Zuckerberg’s attention. Subject line: “Three Titans Unite.” However, his message mysteriously disappeared into the abyss of their crowded inboxes, buried beneath a deluge of SpaceX launch notifications and virtual reality party invites.

Undeterred, Gates upped the ante and decided to take a more direct approach. He hired a skywriter to etch “BILL GATES WANTS IN!” across the skies of Palo Alto and Los Angeles, hoping to catch the attention of the two tech titans. Unfortunately for Gates, a passing SpaceX rocket inadvertently obscured the message just as Zuckerberg stepped out for his morning jog. Musk, on the other hand, mistook the skywriting for an ad campaign for a new line of Gates-branded eyewear.

As Gates grew increasingly desperate, he resorted to more drastic measures. Reports began to surface that he had secretly been attempting to purchase Tesla and Meta, the respective companies helmed by Musk and Zuckerberg. Insider sources claimed that Gates planned to use his newfound ownership as leverage to secure a place in the ring alongside the tech giants.

Unsurprisingly, Musk and Zuckerberg swiftly rejected Gates’s buyout offers, leaving him with nothing more than a stack of disappointed investment bankers and a rapidly diminishing bank account. Even Gates’s charm offensive, consisting of sending extravagant fruit baskets and personalized singing telegrams, fell flat, resulting in confused reactions and a restraining order from Zuckerberg’s personal security team.

Undeterred by these setbacks, Gates decided to employ a more unconventional method. He commissioned a viral dance video featuring himself, attempting to showcase his smooth moves and undeniable star power. Unfortunately, the video gained little traction and was quickly overshadowed by a group of senior citizens doing synchronized Zumba in a retirement home.

With time running out and the fight just days away, Gates was running out of options. In a last-ditch effort, he purchased a billboard in the heart of Silicon Valley, featuring a Photoshopped image of himself riding a cybernetic dragon, with Musk and Zuckerberg cowering beneath his shadow. The billboard caught the attention of passing motorists, but the intended recipients of the message remained frustratingly elusive.

As the world eagerly awaits the Musk and Zuckerberg showdown, Gates’s relentless pursuit continues. Some skeptics believe that Gates may be doomed to forever be the third wheel, just out of reach of the tech industry’s brightest stars. However, one thing is for certain: Bill Gates won’t give up until he’s had his shot, even if it means crashing their private gatherings or disguising himself as an AI-powered robot Butler named “Bot Gates.”

Will Gates succeed in inserting himself into the fight? Only time will tell. Until then, the world watches with a mixture of amusement and disbelief as the nerdy billionaire wages a hilariously misguided battle for acceptance among the tech world’s elite.
