ORLANDO, FL — After receiving numerous complaints from guests, a Disney Imagineer was forced to fix a malfunctioning animatronic figure of former president Donald Trump in the ‘Hall of Presidents’ attraction at Magic Kingdom.

The animatronic, which was added to the attraction in 2017, had developed a glitch that made its voice sound very high-pitched and silly, even sillier than normal.

“It was like listening to a chipmunk on helium,” said one guest who witnessed the glitch. “He was saying things like ‘I’m the best president ever’ and ‘Nobody knows more about the Constitution than me’ in this squeaky voice. It was hilarious, but also kind of disturbing.”

Another guest, who identified herself as a Trump supporter, said she was offended by the glitch and demanded a refund.

“I came here to see the greatest president in history, not some mockery of him,” she said. “This is disrespectful and unpatriotic. Disney should be ashamed of themselves.”

The Imagineer, who wished to remain anonymous, said he was not happy about having to repair the animatronic, which he described as “a nightmare to work with”.

“He’s always moving his hands and mouth in weird ways, and his hair is so hard to maintain,” he said. “Plus, he’s always saying mean things to me, like ‘You’re fired’ and ‘You’re a loser’. I know it’s just a recording, but it still hurts my feelings.”

The Imagineer said he had to replace a faulty speaker and recalibrate the voice modulation system to fix the glitch. He said he hoped it would not happen again, but he was not optimistic.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts glitching again soon,” he said. “He’s probably the most unstable animatronic we’ve ever built. He’s like a ticking time bomb.”

Some guests, however, said they enjoyed the glitch and hoped it would return.

“It was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen,” said one guest who recorded the glitch on his phone. “I’ve watched it over and over again and I can’t stop laughing. It’s better than any comedy show.”

Another guest, who identified himself as a Biden supporter, said he found the glitch satisfying and cathartic.

“It was like seeing him get his comeuppance,” he said. “He sounded so ridiculous and pathetic. It made me feel good about the election.”
