Logan Paul CryptoZoo Refund Request Requires Forfeiture of Your Best Pokémon Card
LOS ANGELES — In a shocking move, internet celebrity and Cryptozoo founder Logan Paul announced that anyone who wants to request a refund for his failed NFT project must first send him their best Pokemon card.
Cryptozoo, which launched in August 2021, was supposed to be a decentralized platform where users could buy, breed, and trade digital creatures called zoos. However, the project soon faced technical issues, legal troubles, and accusations of scamming investors.
Many Cryptozoo holders were outraged and demanded their money back, but Paul said that he would only consider their requests if they mailed him their most valuable Pokemon card along with a handwritten apology.
“I’m sorry, but this is the only way I can make sure you’re serious about getting a refund,” Paul said in a video posted on his YouTube channel. “You have to prove to me that you’re willing to sacrifice something you love, just like I did when I invested in Cryptozoo.”
Paul added that there was no guarantee that he would actually issue a refund, even if he received the Pokemon card. He said that he would review each case individually and decide based on his mood and the quality of the card.
“I’m looking for rare and mint condition cards, preferably from the first generation,” Paul said. “If you send me some crappy card that I already have, or worse, a fake one, you can forget about getting your money back. And don’t even think about trying to scam me with a digital card. I want the real thing.”
Paul also warned that he would not return the Pokemon cards to their original owners, even if he rejected their refund requests. He said that he would keep them as trophies and display them in his mansion.
“I’m doing this for the good of the Cryptozoo community,” Paul said. “I want to weed out the weak and the haters, and reward the loyal and the believers. Cryptozoo is not dead, it’s just hibernating. And when it wakes up, it will be bigger and better than ever. Trust me, I’m Logan Paul.”
