In a shocking revelation, a leading nanotechnology researcher has admitted that nanobots are a pipe dream and will never become a reality.

Dr. Alice Smith, who has spent the last decade working on nanoscale engineering and fabrication at the prestigious MIT, confessed in an interview with ‘Grames Infomer’ that nanobots are nothing but a sci-fi fantasy and a waste of time and money.

“Nanobots are lame and are never going to happen, you nerds,” she said, addressing the millions of fans and enthusiasts who have been eagerly awaiting the emergence of microscopic machines that can manipulate matter at the atomic level.

Smith explained that nanobots face insurmountable challenges in terms of design, fabrication, power, control, communication, safety and ethics. She said that even if nanobots were somehow possible, they would be useless for most applications and would pose a serious threat to humanity and the environment.

“Nanobots are not the solution to anything. They are the problem. They are the ultimate weapon of mass destruction. They could wipe out all life on Earth in a matter of hours. They could turn everything into grey goo. They could create rogue AI that would enslave us all. They could give us cancer. They could make us sterile. They could make us stupid. They could make us ugly. They could make us smell bad. They could make us listen to Nickelback,” she said.

Smith urged the public to stop fantasizing about nanobots and to focus on more realistic and beneficial technologies, such as biotechnology, quantum computing, renewable energy, AI and virtual reality.

“Nanobots are a dead end. They are a distraction. They are a joke. They are a scam. They are a hoax. They are a myth. They are a legend. They are a fairy tale. They are a lie. They are nanonots,” said Dr. Smith. “Fuck you,” she concluded.
