The Rock Blocks All Future DCEU Movies As He Still Controls The Hierarchy Of Power
HOLLYWOOD, CA — In a shocking move that has left fans and critics stunned, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has announced that he will block all future DC Extended Universe movies as he still controls the hierarchy of power in the franchise. Johnson, who starred as the anti-hero Black Adam in the 2022 film of the same name, revealed that he has a contractual clause that gives him the authority to decide the fate of all DC characters and their power levels.
“I am Black Adam, the ruler of Kahndaq and the champion of magic. I have the power of six ancient gods and I can destroy anyone who stands in my way. I am the top of the food chain in the DC universe and no one can challenge me,” Johnson said in a video message posted on his Instagram account. “That’s why I have decided to block all future DCEU movies until they acknowledge my supremacy and make all the other heroes canonically weaker than flies. Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Shazam, they are all nothing compared to me. They are insects that I can crush with a flick of my finger.”
Johnson’s announcement came as a surprise to many, as his film Black Adam was a critical and commercial flop that was widely panned for its poor script, bland action scenes, and overpowered protagonist. The film was also cancelled for a sequel due to low box office returns and negative fan reception. However, Johnson claimed that he still has the final say over the DCEU and that he will not let anyone else take his spotlight.
“I don’t care if Black Adam 2 was cancelled. I don’t care if the fans hated my movie. I don’t care if the critics trashed it. I am still Black Adam and I still control the hierarchy of power. I have a contract that says so and no one can break it,” Johnson said. “If Warner Bros. wants to make any more DCEU movies, they have to get my approval first. And they have to make sure that I am the strongest and coolest character in the whole universe. Otherwise, they can kiss their franchise goodbye.”
Warner Bros. has not yet responded to Johnson’s statement, but sources say that they are considering legal action against him for breaching his contract and sabotaging their plans for future DCEU films. Meanwhile, fans have expressed their outrage and disappointment at Johnson’s ego and arrogance, and have started a petition to remove him from the DCEU and recast Black Adam with a different actor.
“I used to love The Rock, but now I hate him. He ruined Black Adam and now he wants to ruin the whole DCEU. He is selfish and greedy and he doesn’t care about the fans or the characters. He only cares about himself and his stupid hierarchy of power,” said one fan on Twitter. “He should be ashamed of himself for what he is doing. He should let go of his contract and let Warner Bros. make good DCEU movies with good actors who respect the source material and the fans. He should just go back to making Fast and Furious movies or something.”
